Where Is Sanctuary on a Journey?

October 4th, 2009

Missional living is definitely a buzz-phrase that is anywhere you look these days. the idea that we are required to categorize churches, missional, has forever been somewhat weird to me. I mean, shouldnt all church buildings be missional in their very nature? why cant a church, at its very core, want to engage their culture and city with the gospel as a missionary would in a foreign country? Isnt that what the places of worship is challenged to do in the final charge of Christ in Matthew 28:19? Our own hometown begs for this kind of church. Missional church in Austin is slowly moving to what our Creator instructed in Scripture.

The messiah gives the challenge in Acts 1:8 saying, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 personifies this subject as, right before Jesus Christ leaves to go to Heaven, He sends the disciples on a story that would initiate right in their local community. He begins with their origin of Jerusalem, and then enlarges the call to the far parts of the earth.

As followers of Christ, we are not moved to social clubs, but to be missional believers who are anxiously going out and finding communities right where they are with the good news. We have gazed at this throughout history: God urges Abraham on a mission to exit his place of origin and his people and go to the land that God would show him (Gen. 12:1), God moved Moses on a journey to renew an enslaved people and lead them to independence (Exodus 3:8-10), God moved Jesus on a exploration to creation to reconcile all things to Himself through the crucifixion (Colossians 1:20). And now God is sending people on a exploration to engage homes, cities, peoples, and even nations with the story of Christ(Matt. 28:19 Mark 6:7 Luke 10:1 John 20:21 Acts 1:8). If we abandon this call and continue to perceive the places of worship like a closed off country club ” requesting that people clean up their abilities, pay their money, and drive to our sanctuary God will continue His exploration without us.

End Time Events and the 2nd Coming of Jesus

May 22nd, 2008

In part 1 of this series of end time articles, I am going to go ahead and outline all of the main events that will be occurring that will be leading up to the 2nd coming of Jesus to our earth. This will be a basic overview of the main end time events. I will then go into additional parts giving you a bit more detail into some of these specific events. The Bible once again very specifically and very explicitly lays out exactly what is going to happen before Jesus returns back to us for His second coming.

The problem is that all the verses pertaining to the second coming of Jesus to our earth are all scattered throughout the Bible. You thus have to search them out and then match them up to be able to see exactly what is coming down the road - just like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. God always seems to want to make you hunt and search for all of the knowledge that is in the Bible. Seek and then you will find. The subject of revelations and end time events is no exception.

I will keep this article focused on the basic main events so as to give you a “roadmap” as to what may be getting ready to come our way. This subject can get very detailed due to all the incredible events that will take place before Jesus comes back for His second coming.
Basic Outline of the Main Events
Here is a basic outline of the main events at a quick glance. I will talk about each of them in a little more detail in following articles.

1. Miscellaneous Signs

Here are some specific signs that will be occurring as told to us by Jesus and the apostles in the New Testament.

a. Perilous times will come.
b. False Christs and False Prophets will come to deceive even the elect.
c. Wars and rumors of wars.
d. Nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom.
e. Increase in famines, pestilences and earthquakes.
f. Lawlessness and immorality will abound.
g. The love of many will grow cold.
h. Some Christians will depart from the faith giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.
i. Men will become lovers of self, lovers of money, unholy, proud, boasters, blasphemers, unloving, disobedient to parents, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, traitors, headstrong, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God and unthankful.
j. The Holy Spirit will be poured out on all flesh.
k. The Gospel of Christ will preached to the whole world and then the end will come.
m. God will open up end time prophecy for all to understand and interpret so
as to prepare for His second coming.

2. Restoration of the Jewish People Back to the State of Israel

3. Rebuilding of the Jewish Temple

4. Rise of the Antichrist, False Prophet and a 10 Nation Confederacy

5. The 7 Year Great Tribulation

6. The Battle of Armageddon

7. The Return of Jesus to our Earth to set up a 1000 year Millennium Kingdom

SEASONS OF PRAYER

May 8th, 2008

1 Thessalonians 5.17: “Pray without ceasing.”

Over the past 18 plus years, this scripture verse has been my motto. Daniel prayed three times a day. David prayed, Moses prayed, Paul prayed, and many other heroes of faith recognized the importance of prayer. In fact, if these two words were inscribed on my tombstone, “He prayed”, that would be my testimony.

God hears and answers the prayers of his children. Although the enemy works hard to prevent answers from coming, if you pray under the guidance of the Holy Ghost, you can be assured that your prayer was in accordance with God’s will. I was facing some particularly difficult trials and I prayed for the Lord’s help. That evening, I read the tenth chapter of Daniel where he was praying for 21 days about an urgent matter. An angel came and told Daniel that from the very first day he began to pray, his words were heard but a spiritual warfare ensued with the prince of the kingdom of Persia, the chief principality of Satan over that country. The angel had to call Michael, one which stands guard over Daniel’s people (Israelites), to come help. When I read that passage of scripture and the first verse of Daniel, chapter 12, I realized I was in a battle. As I meditated on God’s word, the Holy Spirit quickened me when I said, “By adoption, I am a child of Israel, Lord send Michael to help.”

That night I drifted off to sleep and had a vivid dream. In this dream, I was fighting many demons. I was losing the battle and called on the Lord. I said, “Help me, Jesus, send Michael to help me.” About that time, I saw a platoon (about 30) of soldiers marching towards me. They were dressed up in Army Blue Dress uniforms. The head one came up to me, rendered a hand salute, and said, “Michael reporting as ordered, sir.” In my dream, I could clearly see his name tag and the Chief Warrant Officer Four (the highest warrant officer rank at that time) bars on his shoulders. I said, “Chief, I need help.” He turned to his platoon and gave the command, “Round them up, boys.” In short order, the demons were captured and herded into a white bus that had “PRISONERS” written on it. I woke from my dream and had sweet peace and victory in this battle. What a mighty God we serve!

Later, I met two men who believed strongly in the power of prayer. Their names were Michael (Mike) and Daniel (Dan). Ironic, isn’t it? As I’m writing this, it still amazes me that here I am writing about Daniel and Michael and prayer, and God sent me two friends named the same!

Well, Mike was more like a David in his praying. He was a great singer, like David, and had a heart after God. Dan was more like Jeremiah, the weeping prophet. As Dan took his burdens to the Lord, he would begin to weep. As the tears would flow and the words of prayer came brokenly, you could see and feel the intensity of his prayers.

We three had many a season of prayer. Sometimes it would be just Mike and me, and sometimes just Dan and me. Other times all three of us we come together to pray. None of us were perfect. Like Paul, we all can say, “The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.” However, God looks at the intent and purposes of the heart.

I want to tell you about one example of prayer for each of my friends. Mike called one night. He was facing some really rough trials and had been struggling in prayer. He lived about seven miles from me and he wanted to meet me at the Huddle House to have a cup of coffee and fellowship. Before I left the house, the Lord spoke and said, “Take that Bible, that small one that contains both the old and new testament, and bring it with you. I’ve got a word for Mike.”

I met him a few minutes later, and as we drank our coffee, I said, “Mike, the Lord has a word for you.” I pulled out my Bible, opened it to II Kings 13.15, “And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows.” As tears filled his eyes when I spoke these words, Mike said, “Before I left my house, the Lord told me to put my bow and arrows in my truck. They are out there now.” I said, “Let’s go. We got to go out to a secluded place , pray, and replay exactly what Elisha and Joash did (II Kings 13.15-17). We did, and when that last arrow headed toward the sky, Mike shouted for joy as the Spirit of God moved on him and gave him assurance of victory!

I received a late night call about four years ago. It was Dan. He was in the hospital because of stomach problems. His bowels had burst. He was really in bad shape. As I went into the intensive care unit, where his family were gathered around him, he feebly greeted me and began to talk. He said, “Brother, I ain’t gonna make it this time. I’m ready to go, and I told my wife I wanted you to say a few words at my funeral.” I looked at him and said, “Dan, God ain’t through with you yet, you still have a work to do,” I put my hands on him and began to pray. I asked God to mend those places where the surgery had been done and to raise him up.

In about two days, he went home. Although he was weak, the Lord began to slowly mend him. He had additional surgery later to remove the bag the doctor’s had placed there for his bodily functions. As I’m writing this, Brother Dan has fully recovered and is still working, praying and serving God.

Both Mike and Dan have prayed for me often. I appreciate them and may God richly recompense their labors for him.

James 5.16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervant prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

America - Is it in Bible Prophecies and what can the USA Expect at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ

April 18th, 2008

This is perhaps the most often asked question heard in connection with the second coming, at least for Americans. It a reasonable question for any North American to ask, but it is far from easy to answer. I would be remiss if I were to say that the Bible expressly names America in any passage from Genesis to Revelation. That some passages may refer to America is very possible but not provable and that is the very kind of conjecture I will not entertain.

Naturally all the events surrounding the second coming of Christ are global or universal in nature so they necessarily include the United States. That the antichrist rules America for the same short period he rules the rest of the world is covered in Revelation 13:7. How he gets this powerful and fiercely independent nation to cow to his will is probably the more interesting question to try to answer.

Some people believe that America will be forced to comply with antichrist after an invasion of our shores by a great Eurasian pact of nations. Mostly, the invasion idea stems from the vision of George Washington. In that vision it is said that Washington told this story to his aide who in turn told it to someone else just before he died at about the time of the civil war.

Washington was told that three great calamities would befall the nation. Starting with the revolutionary war, following that the civil war and finally some future war where America would be invaded. My learned opinion of this vision is, “who knows?”
That America would require force to he pushed into the rule of the antichrist is easy to believe but the force in question could be of a different nature. The remaining two views of how the United States is forced into the final pact of nations are probably more tenable.

The antichrist does not act alone but he is aided by one the scripture refers to as the false prophet. Rev. 16:13. 19:20. 20:10 We know little about who this person is today, hut what is known about him is that he doesn’t come from the same region, country and perhaps even the same hemisphere as the antichrist. The antichrist rises up from out of the sea according to Rev. 13:1.

The false prophet rises up out of the land. Rev. 13:1 1-16. The antichrist rules from the revived Roman Empire or The European Union. Where the false prophet is stationed exactly is not known but some think it will be America. This of course is speculative, even though it is very possible. The false prophet will probably not be connected to any religion, but it is most likely he will be a political figure or a minister of science. What he is may he uncertain, but the influence he wields over the world is not. He is able to produce signs in the heavens and draw fire down from heaven at will. Whether he does this supernaturally through the aide of the devil or engages some star wars type pyrotechnical display is also not known.

What is known is that his antics are very successful in persuading the people on earth to give antichrist both credence and rule. Some biblical scholars have thought that he could come from America and while this is not known for sure, it gives rise to the idea that America will he assuaged to join with antichrist by his direct influence. But again, while it is very possible, it is still only conjectural at this time.

A third and perhaps a far more likely scenario is that America will undergo a collapse of all of its markets and financial institutions. Following a collapse, a desperate nation may seek to join with antichrist’s emerging economic systems that will be so successful throughout much of the rest of the world at that time. Not long ago I asked some people the question, what do you think would be the most disastrous thing that could happen to America and what would change its nature significantly, an all out invasion of our shores or a complete and pervasive financial collapse? The majority answered that it obviously would be the collapse of our economy.

America is in the long stretch of the good times. We have many years between us and the dust bowl days and the stock market crash of twenty nine. World War Two is also far behind and the post war boom has become a post war glut. Any people that might decide to invade the shores of this powerful and fiercely proud nation would be in great peril. But take away what Americans really love, their affluence, money and material blessings and you could make them dance to just about any tune. This is the theorem that when applied to the question of how America joins the great evil new world order is the most believable, if not the most likely.

If the compunction to have more, drives a few to fraud, robbery and murder, then what will the lack of almost all consumer goods do to this nation? If history teaches us anything, the answer to this question is not a pretty one.

Peter The Theonomist: An Ethical and Hermeneutical Lesson From One Of Heaven’s Finest

April 13th, 2008

Peter the apostle has provided the substance of much discussion among Christians for two thousand years. Christians in an ethical rut often identify with Peter’s impetuous mistakes or character flaws. But few have his winsome virtues, his bold preaching, staunch love of the truth, and deep love for the Lord. Acts chapter 10 recounts a didactic episode in the life of one of Christendom’s favorites, a lesson we would all do well to learn alongside this ancient friend of God. Here is the text:

Acts 10 (King James Version)

There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.

And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do. And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually; And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.

On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate, And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there. While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them. Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?

And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee. Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him. And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and he had called together his kinsmen and near friends. And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together. And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me? …..

…. Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

This text highlights an important point Peter had need of. It took a little time and teaching effort to bring Peter up to speed on the global redemption God had accomplished in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Lord. But Peter finally got the point: “God is no respecter of persons.” This meant that He saves people from different nations — not merely or predominantly Jews. The Church had gone from a national community to an international community, and the clean-unclean dietary laws — which taught a distinction between Jew and Gentile by means of diet in the Older Testament — no longer had any valid point to make. God was going to send out Jews now — the Jewish apostles — to preach the gospel among the Gentiles.

Separation from the Gentiles commanded under the Older covenant aimed to keep the Jews from adopting the unethical practices and customs of the wicked nations around them. It was an ethical quarantine. Now, with the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, Christ had inherited the nations from the Father (Psalm 2; Matt. 28:18-19). Upon ascending to the heavenly throne as King of kings (Acts 1:8, Rev. 5), He poured out his Holy Spirit upon His people. This in effect functioned as a replacement for Christ on earth. Jesus had to “go away” before He would send “another comforter.”

Now, God had sent them out into the nations — with the Spirit and power — to preach the gospel to “all men,” meaning people from every tribe, tongue and nation, without regard for their ethnicity. God is no respecter of persons. But notice the interesting point about Peter’s important lesson. Peter had assumed that God intended to continue the older pattern — separation from Gentiles and maintaining a dietary difference from them to show it. But redemptive history had moved forward and was expanding to heal the nations.

God did not rebuke Peter sharply. He taught him gently and persistently — three times. The apostle Peter had assumed continuity with the past where none existed. God was doing a new thing. So he taught Peter. Peter’s instinct to keep doing what God has commanded until God says otherwise, precisely and succinctly displays the theonomic principle. Peter was a good Theonomist.

In other words, Peter — and God’s kindhearted intervention — show that neither God nor the apostles assumed what many Christians teach today, “Unless God repeats it in the New Testament, we no longer have to do it.” The sort of reasoning behind the rejection of Theonomy runs thus: “We don’t have to do it (or avoid it) until God says so again in the New Testament.”

The Bible could not more clearly or aggressively rebut this point in saying such words as “It is easier that heaven and earth should disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to fall away from the law” (Luke 16:11). The Law of the Lord binds men to perpetual obedience in every detail, unless and until God says otherwise in the Holy Scripture, either explicitly from a single passage, or else implicitly (by the logical force of many passages together). But the New Testament is not sufficient for the faith and practice of Christians. God never intended it to fly solo.

Whole-Bible Christianity comprises the faith Jesus and the apostles taught. Acts 10 shows this clearly. God rebuked Peter for his misapplication of the dietary laws (assuming continuity where none properly obtained), but NOT FOR ASSUMING the ethical continuity of Old Testament law in general. And Paul also quoted passages from Deuteronomy and Leviticus as binding upon New Testament Christians. But God never rebuked Paul for this. Neither did the other apostles.

They each assumed the perpetual and binding character of the law of the Lord in its holy details. The only ones who want to rebuke them for this are pagans and many modern Dispensational “Christians.” But the New Testament without the Old as the foundation of our faith and practice is not Christian at all. It is Gnostic and heretical. This means that much of what passes for “Christian” today merely counterfeits the biblical faith.

My recommendation then comes in the form of an ancient warning: Caveat Emptor. Look to the Word of God to distinguish the true from the false. The Bible — like Peter — has the answer, meaning the whole Bible, and not just the last 27 books.

NUTRADAMUS PREDICTION: WHY A MUSLIM WILL NOT BE THE THIRD ANTICHRIST

March 26th, 2008

Prophet Nutradamus predicted of the two greatest in Africa and
Asia. This two greatest will form the two rivalry religious
world powers who shall clash in the end-time(see Nutradamus
prediction about Asaia and Africa). Also prophet Nutradamus also
predicted the coming of great Indian spiritualist whose name
will be related to the moon. Just as he predicted the coming of
the young dark leader from Africa

In the book of Revelation chapter 12, reveals the woman that was
clothed with the sun(which is the church operating on Sunday)
and the moon under her feet(which is the name associated with
the antichrist who is to fight the church) and she gave birth to
a man child one who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron(
which means the church will produced an end-time biblical
prophet who is to represent Jesus Christ his Lord on earth
through whom the wrath of God will torch the earth prophetically
implying ruling all nations with the rod of iron) and the moon
under her feet( meaning the name associated with the anitchrist
and using moonday as his day of rest just as the christains uses
sunday as their day of rest)

After that, a great red dragon appeared( that implies that the
antichrist will emerge from a red colour race will be empowered
by a red coloured dragon) and the woman flees from his presence
to a wilderness with the wings of the eagles to be nourished for
1260 days (being the prophetic days for the child to be born
just John the Baptist the forerunner of Jesus Christ who was
spiritually nourished in the wilderness of Juda until the day of
his manifestation to Isreal who announced the coming of the
Mesiah; Luke 1:80);

The red dragon was that accient serpent who deceived the whole
world whose head was bruised on the cross of calvary and shall
be bruised again in the war of Armageddon( being the moon under
the woman’s feet) through the false prophet whose battle was
fought in heaven by Michael and his angels and was defeated by
the blood of the Lamb; and the dragon vomited out flood to
destroy the church but the earth swallowed it and went and made
war with the rest of the her offerings which is the body of the
end-time belivers all over the world.

Below is the prophecies of Nutradamus of the great Indian
spiritualist whose surname shall be related to the Lord of the
Moon: Meaning of Diana is ‘MOON’

“The last but one, of the surname of Prophet, Shall take Diana
for his day of silent rest, He shall wander far by reason of his
raving head Delivering a great many people from imposition”

The Revelation chapter 13 states the coming of the beast known
as the antichrist from the sea which implies the Indian ocean
associated with the red Indian spiritualist being the colour of
the great red dragon from the Indian ocean. See below Nuradamus
prediction about the Indain ocean religion:

“Religion of the name of the seas shall come, Against the sect
of cartifs of the moon’

“This new religion shall spread the world over. It teaches a
new acceptance of life - A kind of magic used as a launch pad to
an experience of the divine. This suggests a concept of complete
surrender to belief.”

Then still in Revelation chapter 13, states that they came
another beast from the earth; this beast speaks like a lamb but
excisces all the authority of the red coloured dragon; thus he
speakes like a dragon; this implies that this Indian religious
leader will manifest as Christ the Lamb of Gd but his source of
power is from the red dragon.

He came out of the earth not from the sea; which means his
religion will have a strong hold in another foreign country not
quite associtated with the Indian Ocean. The land must be found
by the red coloured Indians who are the original owners of the
United states of America known as the red Indians whose country
is currently a world power; the lamb has two horns which implies
the ruling world powers of the American and the Biritish

The prophet of this Indian religion will force all religions to
worship his god making his image and will clash with the
bibilical prophet in the end times.

The false prophet is still the same antichrist whose god will
not be seen physically but shall make his image to be worshiped
just as Jesus Christ the Lamb will not be seen phycically but in
Spirit who is to figt the battle through the end-time biblical
proiphet just as Elijah fought with the prophet of Ball

NOTES ON NUTRADAMUS PREDICTON ABOUT THE ANTICHRIST

Prophet Nutradamus got his sorce of revelation from the accient
occultic/magical religion from Asia which is entirely different
from the orthodox christain religion practice. God revealed
himself to the prophet and send them messages without the
invocation of any spirit to communicate with or the using of any
object for a sorce of inspirqtion.

Base his the none othodox Christian source of inspiration, those
spirits of antichrist cannot project Jeus Christ in such media
as it is in the case of Nutradamus but giving an overview of the
coming world events. Therefore Nutradamus cannot project such
Asian occultic/magical religion leaders as antichrist or false
prophet being the souce of his inspiration since satan cannot
fight against himself but intead projecting them as Jesus Christ
who is to came again from heaven as one of those accient
occultic religions masters.

WHY THE THIRD ANITCHIRST MUST NOT BE A MUSLIM

Below is the prediction of Nutradamus in respect of the Muslim
antichrist:

“Out of the country of Greater Arabia Shall be born a strong
master of Mohammed… He will enter Europe wearing a blue
turban. He will be the terror of mankind. Never more horror”

The above prediction is quite contrary to the end-time biblical
predictions. The false prophets of Indain origins will project
their masters to be worshipped as god even as far as making
images of beasts which is being practiced in several Indian
religions(See Revelation chapter 13 again)

No Muslim spiritual leader will blaspheme the name of God and
project oneself as GOD to be worshipped quite unlike the Asian
occult religions; the Muslims even object that Jesus Christ is
the Son of God but rather a prophet or messenger of God but
project God as the most supreme and that none should compare
himself to “ALLAH” and that “ALLAH” is too great to have a son.

Therefore the Islamic religion never admit the worshiping of
beast or images of any kind or worshiping any founders of their
religion as Godhead unlike the Asian occultic religion.

We the Christians belive that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who
we all worshiped as God and as the creator of the universe (John
1:1-3) similar to the Asian kind of religious believes who also
worship their religious masters as God.

The muslim religion belief in Jihad that is the Muslims engaing
in battle with another rival regious group in the spreading of
Islam and not the Jihah of comiting sucide and killing several
innocent souls on a none religions basis which is being practice
by the muslim terrorist which is quite against the Islamic
traditional practice. Through Jihad which means “HOLY WAR” Islam
spread all over the world beginning with the Prophet Muhammed
who was the founder of the Jihad movement

But this days, do to political and economic reason not
associated with religion, Islamic terrorist for fear of western
military superiority, as they cannot withstand them in the
battle field, now embark on “suicide scoured” which they
interpreted as ‘Jihad” which has lost several lives like the
recent terrorist attach on the world trade centre of September,
11 2001 in which thousands of people lost their lives.

The truth is that they are not fighting for the spreading of
Islam which muslims recognized as Jihad because already Prohet
Muhammed and his followers had already fought the Jihad in the
spreading of Islam all over the world but are fighting the
western powers because of political and economic reasons.

Since the Muslim religion does not accept the worshiping of any

In Everything You Do

David NelmesReaching for God. Searching for Peace. Wanting Happiness. Yearning for Love. These are all things we desire and even a hundred more things beyond that, but to seek these things is a clear indication that we feel as though we don’t already have them. On one end we can acknowledge and say that God has already given us everything, but to truly believe that and apply it to all aspects of our lives, that is often a whole other story.

The Bible has many undeniable truths. Some items in the Bible might be argued or totally disbelieved, but that doesn’t matter. The Bible and other sources of Gods words to us, were never meant to be either totally accepted or totally rejected. This method of thinking limits your ability to clearly see the truths that are there.

To totally accept every word in the Bible as the end-all be-all, you have mixed Gods truths with the personalities, opinions and folk-lore of the writers. You will find so many contradictions that you are forever trying to explain them in some way in which they don’t contradict. Real truths need no defense or explanation.

In Everything You Do - Reaching for God. Searching for Peace. Wanting Happiness. Searching for Love. These are all things we desire and even a hundred more things beyond that, but to seek these things is a sign we feel as though we don't already have them. On one end we can acknowledge that God has already given us everything, but to truly believe that and apply it to all aspects of our lives, that is often a whole other story. For example, the concept that God was not able to bear the actions of people he created ( he was so upset ), that he flooded the entire earth, killing life upon life, upon lifeform…does not agree with the concept of a loving and forgiving God. We can justify it by seeing God how we see ourselves and assume it was his right to do with us as he pleases and we should just be thankful he didn’t just kill us all…or we can see that the writers totally misunderstood an event that occured and treated and viewed God as all ancient tribes did and ASSUMED they were being punished and therefore wrote God in as they saw themsleves…angry, unforgiving, frightened and vengeful people.

On the other hand, to not accept any part of the Bible at all, you have restricted yourself from being exposed to the truths that God has shared with us. Gods truths are all that matter…not when something happened or if something happened, but who we are to be…how we are to live…who God is to us…those things are important. His truths are there and in so many other places as well. They are in songs you hear and movies you see. Once you begin to open your heart to see truthfully, everything becomes so much clearer.

A favorite verse of mine sums up just about all you need to do, be and know. You can virtually throw the whole book away, but hang onto this one truth…
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not depend upon your own understanding. In everything you do, acknowledge Him and he will direct your path.”

This one phrase, one seemingly simple statement, contains everything you need to know in order to have a successful relationship with God and find your way home. All other spiritual truths in the Bible, Course in Miracles, etc, are based upon the spirit of this one phrase.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart….” It flows off our lips so quickly, yet, have we ever fully comprehended what it means or entails? To Trust God is to have full confidence in what he would decide for you. Trusting consists of removing all fear from your heart about what your past, present or future may hold. Trust includes having forgiven everyone and everything of what you believe they have done to you. Trusting means you have released all grievances with yourself, the world and God. Trusting removes all faith in what you believed you can do on your own and acknowledges that everything and anything of value can only be done through God.

To trust God is to see yourself without the means to pay a bill, while never fearing what may come of it. Whether it is paid or not, you believe the path you are on is one that is perfect for you and you can therefore only be content with life. God knows what is necessary for you to learn and grow, so to fear what is brought before you, is not trusting him.

God never tests you. That’s an ancient concept of a Zeus-like God. When times are tough, you can know that no matter what appears to surround you, you have it within the God in you to rise over the situation. Every situation, whether good or bad, is actually an opportunity to learn and grow. These moments are mighty blessings that give you the opportunity to choose differently than you had chosen before. These moments are opportunities to stop the cycles in your life and to move past them. God uses everything at his disposal to teach you everything you need to know so that you can eventually come home to him.

“…and do not depend upon your own understanding.” Our pursuit to understand is the primary thing that distances us from God at times. All understanding is with God. In time, we may understand all things, but we must first release our self-made concepts of what things are and why things are and stop limiting what God can do in our lives. Just know that God knows and stop trying to understand. Just believe God will do as he says and don’t try to figure it out on your own. This world does not have the answers and since we cannot understand most spiritual things, our worldly understanding and attempts to prove ourselves are often just distractions that keep us at a distance from God.

Before you can understand anything, you must be open to see it as it truly is. Consider an attempt in trying to describe a color to somebody, without using any reference to any other color or texture. No matter how well you try, he will never truly understand what that color is… until he finally sees it. Having seen the color, he will understand how it can be used and what it matches and how it differs. Understanding comes by first seeing. Open your heart to see things as God would have you see them and understanding will follow later. First, be open and willing to see, without reservations and without conditions or exclusions of what you will let God show you. Be open. Be willing. Do not depend upon what you have already convinced yourself that you understand. Desire to see. Choose to see differently. Be willing to see things clearly.

“In everything you do, acknowledge Him…” Know that God is your source. Know that his will is the only will and that your will is the same as his. Both God and you want you home. Both God and you want you to be happy, healthy and secure. Know that there is nothing you do separate from him that will ever succeed. This has nothing to do with the world where success is rated upon financial or social awards. All those things eventually fade to dust and therefore are not real. They don’t matter to God. The condition of your spiritual being matters to God. Success is when you open your heart more than the day before. Success is when you are not fearful of things you feared before. Success is seeing God more clearly than before. Success is having an honest desire to pursue the truth, no matter how it might contradict what the world and religion has taught you.

“…and he will direct your path.” What is your path? What is it that God would have you DO? Once you fully comprehend the concept of placing your total trust in God, there is nothing you will feel you will have to do for God. Only God can do. When you think there is something you can or must do for God, you have limited God and put yourself in his seat. So what is your path if you don’t do anything? Your path is not about doing…it’s about being. It doesn’t matter to God what you do, as long as you BE part of him while you do it. Whether you are sweeping floors, running an entire corporation or climbing a mountain, these are physical things. God is not physical, he is spiritual, as is your true self. What is important is what are you BEING while you do these things. That is what your path is, to be all that God would have you be. To be without fear…to be full of love…to be patient…to be compassionate…to be open to hear God…to be willing to grow in Him.

There is nothing God requires that you do. There is no payment or sacrifice he requires or desires. There is no path to discover by racking your brain in trying to figure out what it is that God would have you do. There is no physical thing in the entire universe that you need to give God or those who claim they follow God. There is only one thing that God desires from you and that is for you to Be Willing. Be willing to see clearly… be willing to choose differently… be willing to set aside what the world has taught you… be willing to be what he would have you be. Your willingness creates an opening in your being that allows the Holy Spirit to Do things. It allows the Holy Spirit to heal you, teach you and guide you. Learn to Be and you’ll truly see what God can Do.

No matter what you do in life, God can and will use your life to bless you and all those around you, but even more-so if you are pursuing a higher place of being as well. There are times when we dream about a grand future event that God will bring us to…Our Mission For God…but that’s just fantasy. It is a sign you are not trusting God if you are planning what you believe God thinks is best for you. God may use events and choices you make that will affect a large audience some day, but that doesn’t matter. God knows exactly what you need to become more and more open to him every day. That is what is important to him. He knows what will speed this process and that is where he will guide you. So don’t be so concerned about what you think God wants you to do. Instead, in whatever you do decide to do, be what God would have you be and he will direct you from there.
