Sucker Hands in Poker

When playing Texas hold ‘em online poker , it is always important to not lose a lot of poker online money with a “sucker hand.” I would define these hands as having the low end of a straight, or having a low card to complete a flush. For example, if the board is 9-10-2-J-Q and you are holding an 8, don’t assume an aura of invincibility. An opponent could likely be holding a king and have a better poker online straight than you. However, often times you will win with that lo straight in hold em. That will really be the less however, in Omaha. Since each player is dealt four hole cards, the odds of getting big hands are that much more likely. I have often seen many a new player to Omaha lose significant amounts of money in situations like this. Or because they made a flush with three hearts on the board and holding a 2 and 4 of hearts. In hold em, you might win with that hand, as the likelihood of an opponent also holding two hearts as hole cards is significantly less. But when everyone gets four hole cards, those odds increase greatly. Always remember these factors when you venture to play Omaha.
